Statistically there are 330 days of sunshine at the Dead Sea every year. The haze of minerals and the additional layers of air (due to the the low position) block out a high amount of UVB radiation, which would otherwise be damaging to the skin. |

Due to the low postion of 400 meters below sea level, the air by the Dead Sea is enriched with 10 percent more oxygen than enywhere else on the planet. Because of the evaporating sea water in extermely dry air the entire region is covered in a unique haze. This air is highly enriched with bromine, which greatly contributes to the relaxation of the nervous system. |

The salinity of the Dead Sea's water surpasses that of the Mediterranian Sea tenfold. In addition to salt the Dead Sea contains an especially high concentration of important minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium chlorides and dissolved bromides. This extremely high amount of minerals allows people to float almost weightlessly in the water. Furthermore, the alluvium from the Dead Sea, which is also enriched with minerals, as well as the sulphurous water can be used for medical applications. |

Die Klimatherapie basiert auf den exakt dosierten, kombinierten Einsatz der natürlichen Heilmittel des Toten Meeres: Sonne, Luft und Wasser. Der Therapieplan wird für jeden Patienten nach einer Aufnahmeuntersuchung individuell festgelegt. Schwerpunkt der Behandlung sind Sonnenbäder in (nach Männern und Frauen getrennten) Natursolarien, kombiniert mit Bädern im Toten Meer. Die Kontrolle des Therapieverlaufes, die Gestaltung der Behandlung und die Überprüfung des allgemeinen gesundheitlichen Zustandes erfolgen durch regelmäßige Visiten im Rahmen der ärztlichen Sprechstunde. |
